DSA – Define Structure Architecture is a building design company based in Stratford – Central Taranaki, co-owned and operated by local husband and wife team – Wayne and Penny Bloor. Our customer base includes numerous local building companies, many of our local Taranaki people and individuals from across the North Island. We have completed over 530 projects to date ranging from alterations and additions to new private dwellings and commercial properties right through to complete new builds for businesses and individuals alike. We offer 3D realistic technology that enables our customers to experience what their project will look like on completion.
Wayne –
Working within the building Industry for over twenty-five years; Wayne has developed a wide-ranging knowledge base that encompasses both the practical side of building and a technical specialized design knowledge; that will ensure all projects comply with National Standards and Regulatory Requirements.

- Four Years -Building Control Officer & Quality Manager.
- Four Years -Project Management.
- Six Years -To Date – Licensed Building Designer DSA Design.
Penny –
With a background working predominantly within the administration and personal assistance areas of business; the transition into the building industry has been a positive progression. She has developed a sound knowledge of the policies, law and processes required to succeed, and is now concentrating on the drafting and supporting building consent documentation side of the business.
